"Believe it" wristband travels the world

Nicklas Bendtner’s red "Believe it" wristband travels the world. After just little more than a week, Nicklas Bendtner’s family has shipped more than 700 wristbands to fans all over the world.

The wristbands are packed at the home of Nicklas Bendtner’s aunt and uncle in Copenhagen. While Nicklas' father and agent, Thomas Bendtner, is in South Africa to follow his son's performance on the pitch for Denmark, Nicklas' family has undertaken packing of the red rubber wristbands that Nicklas sells to raise money for the Danish Child Cancer Foundation.

“I know they are really busy at home,” says a delighted Thomas Bendtner from Knysna, South Africa and continues:

“We receive orders all the time. And to keep the costs down, in order for the Danish Child Cancer Foundation to benefit the most from our work, we have chosen to pack the wristbands ourselves”.

In these past days, the Bendtner family has shipped wristbands to Spain, Lebanon, Dubai, Hong Kong, Japan, Sweden, England, Norway, Uzbekistan and many other places. All envelopes are packed by hand and several of them are decorated with smileys and small messages if the order is particularly large.

“We are overwhelmed by the interest for Nicklas' work for the Danish Child Cancer Foundation. We are incredibly grateful to everyone supporting the cause,” says Thomas Bendtner, and would like to make a special thank you to the Danish web agency 727 Online, who made nicklas-bendtner.com possible, and the PR agency Mannov, who has been providing us with content and advice.

“Without the help and advice of good friends, we had not come this far,” says Thomas Bendtner.
